Dear Prayer Partners,
In these monthly reports, our hearts are especially turned toward those serving as soul-menders across the globe or in other contexts—leaders who carry the weight of others’ pain, some of them quietly tending to their own. In places where resources can be few and burdens are heavy, these faithful servants show up with compassion, courage, and a deep reliance on God’s grace.
Your prayers are a lifeline. They cross borders, break barriers, and bring healing to those who pour themselves out regularly.
Thank you for standing in the gap for these leaders. You are part of their story, and your faithfulness is helping restore hearts in places you may never go—but where your prayers are already working.

PRAISE
- Divine protection amidst danger - We lift our voices in praise to the Lord for His faithful protection over the families of our MTS master trainers—Pastor Richard, Mama Esther, Mama Rosette, Mama Lea, and Mama Alfajiri—during a season marked by war and severe scarcity. We give thanks in a particularly heartfelt way for the grace extended to Mama Daphrose and Katavo’s family, now resting safely in Nairobi following the traumatic July 21 intrusion by armed assailants. The Lord remains our refuge and shield.
- Youth transformed in Butembo - We are deeply grateful to God for the powerful move of His Spirit during the youth Bible camp in Butembo, where many young lives were saved and redirected toward hope and truth. We honor and appreciate every heart that supported this ministry—through prayer, encouragement, and generous contribution. Your partnership bore eternal fruit.
- Fruitful mission in Butembo and Beni - Praise the Lord for the successful completion of a three-month mission led by Katavo in Butembo and Beni, where 2 youth groups were taught and 159 leaders trained and equipped throughout June, July, and August. May the seeds planted in these sessions grow into movements of transformation and restoration across generations.
- Let us celebrate the enduring faith that continues to shine in churches, families, and villages—even in the midst of oppression, displacement, and grief.
PRAYER
- Provision where the need is greatest - Let us lift our prayers to the Lord for His gracious provision in regions where the needs are most urgent—protection from harm, daily nourishment, access to medical care, and preparation for school entry. May His mercy meet every vulnerable heart and household with sustaining grace.
- A cry for lasting peace in the DRC - We continue to call upon the Throne of Grace and the Prince of Peace for a lasting peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where weapons still dictate the law and innocent blood continues to be shed. May the Lord silence the violence and raise up peacemakers who restore justice and life.
- Paths of hope for the wounded generation. We earnestly plead with the Lord to open pathways of education, protection, and hope for widows, rape survivors, IDPs, child soldiers, orphans, and marginalized youth. May He raise up mentors who embody dignity, faith, and life-giving values—guiding a generation in search of identity and healing amidst the deep wounds of war.
Thank you for your prayers. |

PRAISE
- We praise the Lord God for the successful conclusion of the BHW intensive training in Beni on August 22, 2025. 30 pastors and leaders attended. Despite the unfortunate death of one of the Reverend Pastors on Wednesday, who had been ill for several years, and the subsequent burial, the training went on smoothly. Follow-up of the BHW Training at Kantine on Thursday, August 21, also went smoothly.
- Our master trainers Elisée Musolombi, Jean Muhayirwa, and Richard Virere participated in this activity before they moved to the training of the teachers for children from the churches in this city, which is also ending on Sunday, August 24th.
- We thank God for the weeks I have spent at our seminary in Kampala, Uganda. I am on my journey back home for a one-month internship.
PRAYER
- During the week of the 25th to the 31st, our team is going to conduct another BHW training in Biakato for the pastors and leaders of the ECC churches. The training is going to be held at CECA 20 Biakato, from the 26th to the 29th.
- For all these trainings we are praying for the trainers that the Lord keeps them safe as they travel (Akile from the Ruwenzori to Beni, the team from Beni to Kantine, and the team from Beni to Biakato). We are also praying for the participants that God speak to them and heal their hearts and that God may keep those who will travel to reach the training centers.
- We are praying for the COT training of Butembo next month, that God precedes the selection of participants, and that they use the training to equip them for this program in Butembo.
- We are praying for the BHW radio outreach program, through which many people are receiving healing messages.

PRAISE
- We praise the Lord for the success of our BHW Oral Training in Busaghala, which took place from August 11 to August 14, 2025. It was a blessing for many participants, 45 of whom out of 53 accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They will certainly continue to experience healing, hope, and freedom.
PRAYER
- Please continue to pray for the BHW Ministry of Prayer, Counseling, and Healing for 15 excommunicated pastors. We believe the Lord can still intervene so that the 15 brothers can return to pastoral ministry and thus serve the Lord.
- Support for the Princess Found Association, a healing group called the 'King's Daughters Healing Group' made up of formerly prostituted girls who have given their lives to the Lord. (a pilot project for 45 girls who decided to stop the sex trade for their survival and become entrepreneurs).
- Comfort conference for children with disabilities, which is scheduled for December.
- Continue to pray for the support of 20 childless couples who endure all kinds of insults and mockery. Not having children in Africa is perceived as an evil committed by the woman, who suffers all forms of verbal and even physical violence even though it isn’t her fault.
- All Congolese people want peace in the DRC. Please continue to pray.
- Pray for the COT conference in September 2025 in Butembo, which will be led by Pastor David Mudeya of the MTS Beni coordination.
