November 2025

Dear Prayer Partners,

As God prepared to judge Sodom and Gomorrah, He paused to share His plans with Abraham. What followed wasn’t quiet acceptance—it was bold intercession.
Abraham stood before the Lord and asked, “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?” He pleaded for mercy, not just once, but six times, each time lowering the number of righteous needed to spare the city—from fifty all the way down to ten.
This wasn’t arrogance. It was love. Abraham cared deeply for the people, even those whose choices grieved God. He believed in God’s justice and His mercy.
And God listened.
This story reminds us: prayer isn’t just about asking. It’s about standing in the gap. It’s about believing that God hears, that He responds, and that our prayers can shape outcomes. (
Genesis 18:16-33)

So very grateful,
The MTS Team

PRAYER & PRAISE

  • Urgent prayer for Simeon Kasereka Musitu. It has now been three weeks since MTS master trainer Esther Kavunga last saw her third son, Simeon Kasereka Musitu. The 20-year-old went missing on October 7, 2025, and has not been seen since. Given the high levels of criminality in Goma, including cases of forced recruitment—there is serious cause for concern. Let us join together in prayer for Simeon’s safe return and for comfort and strength for his family during this deeply troubling time. Let us also pray for the return of peace.
  • Strengthening new believers at Himbi High School in Goma. Let us continue to water with fervent and persevering prayers the spiritual growth of the 300 students from Himbi High School who made decisions for Christ this past September. Please pray for Chaplain Daphrose Muteho and her team as they work tirelessly to disciple and support these young believers. May the Gospel bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom.
  • Redemptive Chaplaincy in Schools Two of the largest private school complexes in the DRC — CS UJN in Goma and CSPD in Dungu—each serving over 1,500 students, have begun implementing a redemptive model of chaplaincy, with a strong focus on evangelism and counseling. We praise the Lord for their bold commitment to spiritual transformation. Let us continue to pray for a smooth transition and for the 100 additional schools expected to join this movement in the coming year. May this initiative bring deep and lasting impact to students, staff, and communities across the nation.
  • Strangers armed with guns broke into my place at 1:53 a.m. on October 30th and demanded money. Thankfully, we are all safe and sound. Praise be to God!

PRAISE

  • We praise the Lord God for the launching of the two new BHW healing groups and one COT children’s group at Oicha this month.
  • We praise God for the ongoing follow-up of the PLPF program in Beni, by the Youth Ambassadors of the Malepe Church, who are meeting the princesses every Sunday after the Church service. God is transforming and filling many of these with hope for a new life in Christ.
  • We praise the Lord God for the ongoing BHW teachings to women of the Kangaembi Church and the Youth in the Ngongolio congregation, both in Beni.
  • We praise God for sparing Pascal’s family’s life from the evil people, who entered their house at midnight and took away all the money, telephone, and computer, one week ago.

PRAYER

  • The Lord to bless and enable the two new BHW healing Groups and one COT children’s group at Oicha, launched this month.
  • The Lord God to lead and empower the team in the preparations and the recording work of the COT radio outreach teachings this month.
  • We are praying to God for the healing of Maman Pendeza, a new BHW Healing Groups facilitator in the Malepe Church, who is seriously sick.
  • We are praying to the Lord God for His healing in the ongoing BHW teachings to women of the Kangaembi Church and the Youth in the Ngongolio congregation.
  •  We are praying for the BHW radio outreach program, through which many people are receiving the Healing message.
  • We are praying to God for economic stability in the DRC. This area has been very unstable these recent weeks.
  • We are praying for David Mudeya’s academic works, defense (November), and graduation activities (December) in Kampala, Uganda.
  • We are praying to God for peace and stability, for the end of the hidden genocide in our areas, and for Him to use Leaders to restore Regional Security and diplomatic relations.

Kavusa Mutsopi Albert

MTS-MAMBOWA/DRC

PRAYER

  • Since the beginning of this week, we’ve been in a state of insecurity and trauma. Gun violence is rampant, and even today, we’re still hiding outside, waiting for what might happen. Several people have already lost their lives. Please continue to pray for our safety, as I also need to treat those who have sustained gunshot injuries.

Moise Mawa

Butembo, Lubero, Bashu regional office

PRAISE

  • We thank the Lord for the impact of MTS’s teachings in the region. Many people testify to their healing after following the teachings. The BHW radio program also allows us to connect with listeners who tune in. For example, a woman who had conflicts with those around her was able to reconcile with her adversaries thanks to the teachings on forgiveness. All the content of the MTS program is compelling in healing trauma and restoring hope.
  • The representatives of the Ntoyo survivors, a village recently attacked by a rebel group where several people lost their lives, expressed their gratitude for the positive impact MTS has had on their healing journey. They met our team in Mambowa from September 16 to 17, 2025.
  • The Binti za Mufalme group, PFPL group, is doing well, and their comfort sessions and teachings continue.
  • Hope for the DRC remains.

PRAYER

  • Please pray for the communities that have been affected by floods, where six people have lost their lives.
  • We need peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Please pray for us.
  • Pray for the vulnerable people of war: poor, orphans, widows, and the disabled.

*Ministering to the Abused and Exploited in Mexico

 PRAYER

  • Two possible new MAEM teams opening in Juárez and Guanajuato. We are in the middle of the Mending the Soul process for them. These are two groups of pastors and leaders who are also survivors of abuse. Pray for God’s presence in every session and for their healing and restoration journeys.
  • For Sergio and me, who are facilitating these two groups, and for all of our facilitators guiding groups in different regions of Mexico through a diversity of restoration processes, including Mending the Soul. Please pray that we may be instruments in the hands of God, bringing Truth and freedom to those we serve through MAEM.
  • That each of our facilitators may find continuing restoration for themselves so that they may continue serving from a solid base.
  • For unity and a strong sense of belonging and common vision as we discern the next steps in our ministry.
  • That we may continue serving with integrity, resisting any form of violence and abuse within and in our families and communities.
