"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert
and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."

PRAISE
-
We thank the Almighty God for enabling us to conduct a successful By His Wounds conference that was held in Mubende on MTS property. Many people received healing through the conference. The healing received by the participants was both physical and emotional. For instance, there was a participant who had gotten in an accident, and for two years he had been supported by a stick to walk; but on the 3rd day of the conference he could walk freely and not feel any pain. Some had given up ministry due to trauma, but by the end of the conference they received healing, and they were able to resume.
-
We also thank God that the translation of the Parent's Journey to the Child's Heart workbook into Luganda, Runyoro and Runyankole was completed.
-
Construction of the staff houses at the Shalom Center is ongoing, and tree planting was also done.
PRAYER
- Please pray for the June Caring for the Vulnerable Child conference and for the 50 master trainers. Pray that God would guide the facilitators, protect the participants and the facilitators as they travel from different areas.
- Pray for the translation team and that God would continue to guide them.
- Pray for Stephen as he puts together the oral curriculum and that God would continue to guide him.
- Pray for the healing groups that God may continue to heal the participants.
- Pray also for our families that God would continue to protect us and give us good health.
Thank you.

PRAISE
- We praise God alongside Katavo for His divine protection and provision, for the committed MTS team of master trainers in the Goma area, and for the new partnership with MEDAIR, an international NGO devoted to sanitation and care for displaced.
- We praise God for the faithful work of high school chaplains from various schools in Goma City. Through the ministries of Daphrose, Guylene, Rosette, and Esther, many students have encountered the transformative power of the Gospel. We rejoice with them over 442 students who have committed their lives to Christ. In addition, 437 students and individuals have received counseling and care, finding guidance, healing, and support.
- We give thanks for the equipping of 125 local leaders—including church leaders, nurses, and hospitality coordinators—who are now better prepared to serve their communities with compassion and truth.
- We also celebrate the completed translation of Caring for the Vulnerable Child while sustaining efforts to translate Mending the Soul into French.
- From Kiwanga town: This year, we joyfully give thanks to the Lord for five souls who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ, embracing His grace and truth. We also celebrate the impact of 120 individuals counseled, 400 lives cared for, and the 600 faithful listeners of Lea’s radio program, where hope and healing continue to reach many. May God’s hand continue to guide and multiply these efforts for His glory!
- From Rev. Richard and his spouce, Edezila who are on Idjwa Island: We give thanks to God for His divine protection over Idjwi Island in Kivu Lake, shielding it from war and epidemic, and transforming it into a refuge for more than 40,000 internally displaced people. May His peace continue to reign over this haven.
PRAYER
- We pray for a powerful impact from upcoming intensive seminars for MEDAIR staff (June), the three-month training for 60 school chaplains in Beni territory, and the Bible study sessions for 500 emerging young leaders (July). May these trainings deepen faith, wisdom, and leadership.
- We uplift the writing and illustration team for the Kids’ Embrace Bible, a vital resource designed to bring hope and healing to highly traumatized children, helping them discover God’s love and a future filled with hope.
- We also remember the personal needs of the chaplains in Goma City mentioned above. We thank God for His sustaining hand over Rosette’s family during a long season of hardship, and we ask for His provision, including employment for her husband. We intercede for her ongoing ministry among students facing deep trauma—rape survivors, grieving orphans, and girls suffering from the effects of repeated fainting due to stress. May the Lord bring deep healing and hope. May the fruit of these labors be lasting, and may God’s love and truth continue to transform lives through these dedicated servants.
- We seek God’s abundant grace for Lea (mentioned above), that she may be strengthened with stamina as she tirelessly cares for rape survivors and individuals living with disabilities, while also pursuing trauma education to further her impactful ministry.
- We pray for God’s favor and practical wisdom upon Pastor Richard and Edezila as they seek to establish an income-generating activity to support their family. May their efforts be fruitful and guided by His provision. We lift them before the throne of grace as they work to bridge gaps and bring the healing message of Christ to the Pygmies, that they may experience His transformative love.
Thank you for your prayer support. |

PRAISE
- We praise God for the successful trip to Uganda for my one week of studies in Kampala (May 4 - 10) and for the one week of ministry at Ndama (May 11 – 16th) in the COT (Children Our Treasure) training with Dr Ethie. The Lord God allowed us to teach 45 boys.
- We are praising God also for the By His Wounds intensive training accomplished here in Beni (May 13 - 16) and for all the blessing He poured in the hearts of His people who were trained.
- I am also giving thanks to God for Jeannette’s release from the hospital in this month.
PRAYER
- Please pray for the preparations for the trip to Uganda with the 12 Children Our Treasure master trainers on June 14, for the training on 16 – 17, and the trip back on June 18.
- We are continuously praying for our radio outreach program. May God use it to reach so many people with the healing and salvation.
- We are praying for the preparations for the PLPF (Princess Lost Princess Found) training in Beni and Oicha in June and July.
- We are praying for the Mangina Church, which has lost one Church leader, Reverend Shafiko Valery. This one was one of our hosts in Mangina, and one of the active trainees in the BHW (By His Wounds) program. He died of sicknesses. We are praying for God’s comfort to His family, the wife, and the children among whom some still students.
- We are continuously praying for Maman Jeanne’s family in Bunia as her husband is still unfound for one year and half now. May God work for them and keep him alive where he is, if he is still alive.
- We are praying to God for peace, the end of war and for the political stability in our region, the East of DRC. Many families have been displaced; the IDP camps and orphanages are not only visible but also be added every year in cities and municipalities; thousands of families are under hunger, lack, and scholarship difficulties.
