| Ebola: The WHO considers the Ebola outbreak (Bundibugyo variant) in eastern DRC provinces, where MTS works, extremely serious. It is marked by rapid transmission (1,000 suspected cases in 10 days), a 70‑day surveillance gap due to halted U.S. funding, and poor contact tracing (20%). Local violence and mistrust further obstruct containment. This variant has no approved vaccine or treatment, and the toll is heavy — over 300 deaths, health workers affected, and risk to 10 neighboring countries.
PRAISE
PRAYER
- Halt transmission, strengthen detection and tracing, foster peace and cooperation, protect frontline workers, develop treatments, and prevent regional spread.
The State of our Country: My intention is not to discourage, but to bring news of our country and stir prayer and action. Poverty in the DRC is worsening: 69% lived below $3/day in 2024; 81.1% last year, among the five poorest nations; 85.3% this year, making the DRC the poorest country in the world.
PRAISE
PRAYER
- That God would comfort and lift the suffering of the people; for just governance and wise stewardship of resources; that violence and mistrust would give way to cooperation and hope.
MTS Goma: June 2026 MTS Goma coordination includes a report on 3 months of healing groups ministry, restitution for the Ndama summit of May 2026, and planning for Summer vacation ministry and BHW intensives for next year (July 2026-May 2027). We need clarity of mind and renewed passion for the hurt. We praise the Lord for more than 300 hurt ones who have been faithful in attending the BHW healing groups and their facilitators.

| PRAISE
- We gratefully testify to God's faithfulness in answering prayers for the trip and the Congolese summit in Uganda. The Lord guided every step, from administrative and immigration processes to safe travel. The training was resourceful and a blessing, and God cared for every family whose loved one was away on this mission.
PRAYER
Another Wave of Killings
- The ADF atrocities have been raised again in several centers in recent weeks. People’s lives are being lost day and night.
- The Mambasa territory (district) has reported many cases.
- The Biakato municipality has undergone this in the Lalia quarter, where dozens of citizens have perished, and houses have been burnt.
- The territory (district) of Beni has also been affected. Mayimoya, a center on the road to Eringeti from Oicha, has been touched by such atrocities.
- The displacements of families are again visible in the town of Mangina, and in Beni, Kasindi, and Butembo.
The Newly Reported Ebola Epidemic
-
The Ebola epidemic has been reported in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It is now reported in Ituri and, in some cases, in North Kivu. Many health zones in Ituri province, including Nyankunde, Mongwalo, and Bunia, have confirmed Ebola deaths. We are then praying for our people to understand this epidemic clearly and to stand and act responsibly. And may God help this to stop.
The strategic activities of July 2026 to June 2027
- We are praying for the Lord for His blessing and anointing over the strategic activities planned from July 2026 to June 2027. These mainly include the Radio outreach of the BHW and COT teachings, the BHW intensive and oral, the Princess Lost – Princess Found, and the Youth BHW conferences.

| PRAISE & PRAYER
-
We are finishing up our first MTS class of the year at the end of June so this is a critical time for healing for participants.
-
In the summer we are offering an Explore class along with a few other courses for training leaders. One is a seminar on how to be a safe church for victims of domestic violence and the other is the defenses of the heart seminar from MTS. All of these activities are on ZOOM and need prayer coverage.
-
In early July we will meet with the leaders from Ecuador to see where we are in their big vision to start an in-country program of their own.
-
Nicaragua continues to grow in their program accessing our resources when needed and building their own groups and leaders. God continues to open doors!
-
One of our leaders, Karen Feijoo, in Ecuador, is mourning the loss of her daughter a few months ago.
-
Another opportunity coming up is to train the professionals at a home in Costa Rica for girls rescued from the streets called RENACER. We did this maybe 3 years ago and they want it again. Carmen, Magda and I will meet tomorrow night to plan.
