March 2026

I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea…You came near when I called you, and you said, "Do not fear."

Lamentations 3:55-57

Lord God,

We call on Your name for our global partners, trusting that You hear every cry from the depths. As they walk with others through pain and healing, come near to them in moments of weariness and uncertainty. When the work feels heavy or overwhelming, remind them that they are not alone. Speak Your steady words over their hearts: “Do not fear.” Renew their strength, guard their spirits, and let them sense Your presence guiding them each day.

Amen

 PRAISE & PRAYER

  • We give heartfelt praise to the Lord for the successful By His Wounds intensive seminar held in Goma from Tuesday, February 10, to Friday, February 13, 2026. A total of 56 participants attended. They arrived carrying wounds but departed with powerful testimonies of healing.
  • Most of them have now formed healing groups, which they will lead for at least three months. Let us pray that these groups flourish and that the caregivers receive the stamina and perseverance needed to continue this beautiful ministry, especially in this martyr city where the needs are immense.
  • Furthermore, three local nonprofits have invited MTS Goma to conduct a similar By His Wounds seminar in Uvira, another city marked by suffering due to war. Let us pray for the preparations and for God’s guidance as this new opportunity unfolds.

David Mudeya

MTS Beni Regional Office

PRAISE

  • We praise the Lord God who has enabled the mission to Dungu, which included some theology lecturing at the UBECA and the By His Wounds intensive training for theology students, church leaders, and chaplains.
  • We praise God for the ongoing radio outreach program in our region.
  • Praise God for His care over Ephraim, one of our Master Trainers and a By His Wounds co-facilitator. Armed bandits entered his home last month, and he was injured in the attack. He has now been released from the hospital and is recovering with his family.
  • We also thank God for His protection over Pascal, another of our Master Trainers, and his family after armed bandits targeted their home again this month. We are grateful they are safe.

PRAYER

  • For the radio outreach programs, and audience, for courage and readiness to listen and testify God’s working hand.
  • God to bless and use the BHW training at UCBC L1 and L3 students.
  • God bless and use the PLPF training at Oicha. May God give strength to the facilitators in these trainings and touch His people through it.
  • God to lead us in the preparations for the Uganda/Ndama summit, as we are going to start contacting people and leaders for this upcoming session. We are praying for stability in our region and safety and health in our families.

Kavusa Mutsopi Albert

MTS Mambowa/DRC

PRAISE

  • I thank God for the grace of life He grants us each day. I also express my deep gratitude for this opportunity. He has allowed me to remain in contact with a multitude of wounded people of all kinds during this training period at the Beni hospital.

PRAYER

  • What the Congolese population is experiencing is utter desolation. From Monday, February 23rd, until February 25th, we received 98 wounded people from Masisi, Walikale, Pinga, Oicha, and Lubero. This demonstrates that security is a problem in our country.
  • May God intervene to restore peace throughout the DRC.
  • Let us pray for all the innocent sick people who are suffering at the Beni hospital and especially those at the Mangango hospital.
  • May God protect us throughout our training.

Moise Mawa

MTS Butembo, Lubero, Bashu Regional Office

PRAYER

  • Pray for the protection of civilians, churches, and humanitarian organizations in Butembo and Beni, facing armed groups and violence.
  • Ask God to restore peace and reconciliation between communities after years of conflict and displacement.
  • Pray for displaced people in Butembo and Beni so that they receive humanitarian aid and can return home safely.
  • Ask God to accelerate evangelization and spiritual growth of churches in Butembo and Beni, despite challenges.
  • Pray for the empowerment of PLPF, their protection against sexual violence, and their access to education and employment.
  • Ask God to support survivors of sexual violence so that they receive medical and psychological care.
  • Ask God to improve the health and well-being of Congolese people, especially in areas where healthcare services are limited.

RESPLENDA: An abuse ministry using MTS in
Spanish-speaking communities

PRAISE

  • I just returned home from 9 days in Nicaragua. Magdalena and I taught 3 different seminars: 2 introductory and one for facilitators. We trained 15 facilitators! They are very excited to be establishing their country's own program.
  • Participants from various denominations in the introductory seminars were very moved to collaborate to better minister to victims of abuse and neglect. It was beautiful to see them moved to act. God is touching hearts!  Thank you for your prayers!
(The impact: 57 churches, 57 pastors, 15 facilitators, 90 people heard our sermons, 4 cities)

PRAYER

  • We will continue to support them with training, coaching and prayer but they are off and running. Will you join us in praying for them?

Titus & Stephanie Folden

PRAISE

  • Thanking God that I was able to spend this past weekend with Ana Gloria in Valencia, meet several of the people she has taken through MTS small groups, visit her church, and witness the way the Lord is transforming lives through her.
  • Praising God that many couples in Guayaquil are going through Explore in preparation to become foster parents! Praise the Lord for the continued work of teaching and organizing by Oscar and Consuelo Mora, Heather Wheelock, and Sheree Wuertz.

PRAYER

  • Pray for the completion of the Caring for the Vulnerable Child material in Spanish. The revision process has taken longer than anticipated. Pray that we can finish it before May.
  • Pray for wisdom in how to address various complex situations involving children in abusive and vulnerable circumstances.
  • Pray that God would encourage and raise up the right people to help implement the Princess Lost/Princess Found material among women in prostitution here in Spain.
  • Pray for Oscar Mora and family as they are grieving the murder of a close family member last week in Guayaquil close to their home. It was armed robbery that ended with the family member being shot.
Oscar called me last night to ask for prayer and share the news.
