PRAISE

  • MTS Master Trainers Capacity Building: Praise God for the 35 Mending the Soul (MTS) Master Trainers in Goma currently completing advanced training in By His Wounds, Children Our Treasure, and Heal or Harm. This equips them to lead intensive 7-day trauma healing seminars across six key regions: Kiwanja, Goma, Idjwi, Bukavu, Uvira, and Bujumbura.
  • Specialized Counseling Partnership: We give thanks for our partner, HEAL Africa, who recently conducted an intensive 6-week training in communication, counseling, and pastoral care for five of our MTS Master Trainers.
  • Regional Trauma Healing Training: We are grateful that four female MTS Master Trainers completed a 5-day trauma healing seminar in Kigali, hosted by our partner, Biblica Africa.
  • Now we are connected with Starlink, and it is a blessing we praise God for.

PRAYER

  • Coming Kiwanja Healing Event: Pray for the upcoming By His Wounds seminar scheduled for next month in Kiwanja. We aim to train 50 healing group facilitators, serving survivors of sexual violence and individuals with hearing impairments. Please pray for God's grace, wisdom, and provision as we prepare.
  • School Evangelism Campaign (November): Pray for clarity of mind, physical stamina, and spiritual power as we prepare for a major school evangelism campaign launching in early November. We plan to reach 853 schools with a multifaceted outreach strategy, trusting God to lead 10,000 young people to Christ.

David Mudeya

MTS Beni Regional Office

PRAISE

  • The ongoing radio outreach program, done monthly.
  • God's care of our families.
  • The launching of Children Our Treasure groups at Mutwanga, Bulongo, Halungupa, and Lume.

PRAYER

  • The ongoing Ebola epidemic in the region (Bunia, Beni, Butembo), for sensitivity and readiness in preventive actions, and for the healing of the sick, and for the end of this pandemic.
  • The Lord’s blessing over the Children Our Treasure follow-up in October.
  • Our radio outreach listeners to get healed by His Word.
  • We continue to pray to the Lord God to support the ministry partners who work with Mending the Soul to reach the communities: CEPIMA (Beni, Oicha, Bunia), CERESAM (Beni, Mutwanga), CERAPEC, L2RCongo, BBC, UCBC, ECC and ERC Churches, USB, UBECA, Excellent Group, and orphanages in Beni, Oicha, Kasindi, Mutwanga, and other places.

Kavusa Mutsopi Albert

MTS Mambowa/DRC

PRAYER

  • Pray for those suffering from Ebola; they are deeply traumatized because contracting the disease means being isolated, even from their families.
  • Pray for the healthcare staff; may God grant them a spirit of love and courage, as it is not easy to work for so many months without protective equipment.

Moise Mawa

MTS Butembo, Lubero, Bashu Regional Office

PRAISE

  • For the successful BHW Oral training session in Butembo/Makere last month for low-literacy leaders: God opened the hearts of the participants, tears flowed, and healing began.
  • For the Radio Program: Our message of peace and healing continues to reach thousands of homes in Butembo, Lubero, and Bashu. Radio remains an instrument of comfort.
  • For the progressive containment of Ebola: Thank you, Lord; the outbreak seems to be stabilizing. Let us pray that it stops completely and that our teams remain protected.

PRAYER

  • For the "Princesses" Training in October 2026: We are preparing the next session to restore the dignity of our vulnerable young girls. Pray for the trainers and for each young girl to discover her value in Christ.
  • For Peace in Eastern DRC.
  • May the government and the rebel groups remember that they are first fathers, mothers, and sons. May their fear, anger, and vengeance be replaced with compassion for the mothers, daughters, and children of the East.
  • Let us pray for the President and his government: wisdom to protect the people without shedding more blood.
  • Let us pray for the leaders of the M23: wisdom to understand that peace does not come through weapons. Let us pray that they choose the table of dialogue rather than the battlefield. Let us pray that they FEAR GOD and love the people.
  • May both sides see the face of the displaced, of the more than 50,000 students without classes, of raped women, of enlisted children.
  • Let us pray against the spirit of profit behind the war (minerals, power, money).
  • Let us pray that the protection of civilians comes before political interests.
  • Let us pray for the MEDIATORS from Qatar and the USA who are seeking peace. May God give them a word that will be heard by both sides.

Saba Ashraf

Founder & Director, Faith Women Fellowship

Pastor Naveed

Pastor and Ministry Leader, Faith Women Fellowship

We are grateful to welcome Saba and Naveed in Lahore, Pakistan, as new global partners. Saba founded and leads Faith Women Fellowship, a Christ-centered ministry supporting women through discipleship, prayer, and practical care, and has found that trauma affects so many of the women and families they walk alongside.

After connecting with us in August, five members of their leadership team began working through the Mending the Soul workbook in September, experiencing the healing journey themselves before guiding others.

Please pray for Saba, Naveed, and their team as they continue this journey and prepare to offer compassionate, Christ-centered support in their community.

PRAISE

  • We are thankful that we have been able to begin this journey together and have completed our first two chapters. We are looking forward to continuing!

PRAYER

  • Please continue to pray for us as we work through the remaining chapters.
  • Pray that God will give us wisdom, unity, and open hearts, and that He will prepare us to serve women and men in Pakistan with greater compassion and wisdom.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!
THEY MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
