Mission
Our broad mission is to serve the church and the community by embodying the justice, mercy, and goodness of God. We believe we best show: God’s justice by prophetically standing against abuse and oppression; God’s mercy by protecting the vulnerable and helping to heal the broken; His goodness by loving the broken and helping to restore the exquisite male and female design for healthy relationships.
Vision
Our specific vision is to develop and provide biblically and scientifically sound resources for Christian and community leaders on: (1) the nature, effects, and prevention of abuse/oppression; (2) abuse/oppression healing; (3) relational and sexual health. We desire to provide educational and equipping resources for leaders who work with strategic populations that lack resources. Hence, our priority is to serve key leaders in the developing world. Secondarily, we desire to serve key leaders who minister to neglected and needy populations in the United States (prisoners, those in battered women’s shelters, prostitutes, etc.).

In 2007 MTS Ministries was asked by Drs. David and Kassie Kasali founders of Congo Initiative (CI) to come to the Democratic Republic of Congo to help train church leaders and caregivers how to help the survivors of sexual violence. In May 2007 and July 2008 MTS sent a team to work with CI to do this. For a report of the latest trip, please go to the Mission Reports tab under the News and Events section.
StreetLight Project
Website: http://www.streetlightphx.com/
After forming the non-profit organization Stop Child Rape For Profit, Inc. the StreetLight Program was launched on January 27, 2009. StreetLight was founded to “provide opportunities for young girls to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power.” We realize before any individual can recognize their potential and discover their purpose; their most basic human needs must be met. But on the streets of our cities and in every country around the world, there are a multitude of vulnerable young children that are not having these their basic needs met. These children are being exploited, abused and sold.

branded is a feature length documentary that explores the dehumanizing realities of prostitution and the devastating effects it is having on the lives, neighborhoods, and communities of Phoenix, AZ. The film also highlights the courageous work being done by the Phoenix Police Department, the Phoenix Police Department VICE Unit, the Sex Crimes Bureau, Dignity House, various non-profits, and members of the government to combat this social injustice. branded exists to inform and motivate individuals to tangible, purposeful social action against the sex slave trade of children and to honor the victims of those caught up in the terrible wake of this living nightmare.
