Original MTS Student Edition Now Available!!

In case you haven’t heard…in about 18 months, Zondervan will publish a new version of the book (co-authored by Kristi Ickes and Steve and Celestia Tracy) which contains lots of scripture and direct Biblical teaching in conjunction with what was written originally. In the meantime, Zondervan has graciously given permission to re-print the original, seeker-friendly version of the MTS Student Edition. God provided a generous grant and the books are available for 10 months only.
We believe this is a very important resource for all those who work with teens. Because it was originally used in the public school setting it provides a unique opportunity to reach those teens who are “un-churched” or totally put off by scripture but are in our youth groups and are in pain. This book is based off of an integration of the MTS textbook and workbook. The theological foundational basis is there but the scriptural references were not included thus allowing for those who put up a wall when faced with any “religious” connotations to still be able to begin the process of understanding the love of Jesus and their own original design.
When released, the Zondervan published version is going to be a great resource to use in conjunction with this version as a second step in healing. Since they are available only for a short time, we don’t want to see you miss the opportunity to have some of these available for your ministry. Once they are gone, they will not be in print again.
In addition to offering the book, Kristi Ickes has developed a program that includes leadership training, small group ministry, and even an opportunity to become an MTS Student Edition pilot church. Using what you learn through Kristi’s training sessions and the resource provided by the MTS Student Edition, you will learn how to be a safe place for your youth to share their pain!
